Witness is not reserved for a few extroverts. Jesus calls His people to bear witness as they go, in ordinary relationships, work, family and community.

This module explores different witness styles and helps learners share faith with authenticity rather than pressure.

Disciples practice testimony, listening, invitation, prayer and gospel clarity.

The preview introduces witness as faithful presence and clear courage.

Opening encouragement

Walking as a Witness invites the learner to take a real step, not only collect information. This part of the Growth Track begins with grace: God meets people where they are and then gives them a path to grow. The module is connected to You Shall Be My Witness, but the goal is larger than finishing a book. The goal is a formed disciple who understands the truth, practises it in ordinary life and helps someone else grow.

Biblical foundation

The biblical foundation for this module is Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 3:15. These Scriptures frame the central truth: Witness is the overflow of a transformed life that points people to Jesus with humility and courage. The learner is encouraged to read slowly, notice what God reveals, and ask how the Word moves from belief into obedience.

Practical teaching

The theme of this module is Evangelism, personal witness, mission, influence and sharing faith as you go. That theme becomes practical when the learner can name what must change in thought, habit, relationship or service. The key practice is simple: Identify one person you can encourage, serve or speak to with the love and truth of Christ.

What growth looks like

By the end of the module, the learner should be able to understand witness as lifestyle; discover personal evangelism styles; practice sharing faith with courage and respect. Growth is measured through reflection, action, group discussion, facilitator support and certificate progress, not by rushing through content.

Starter reflection

  • Where do I most need the truth of Walking as a Witness in my current season?
  • Which part of this theme exposes a belief, habit or fear that needs to change: Evangelism, personal witness, mission, influence and sharing faith as you go?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, lead me through Walking as a Witness with honesty and teachability. Help me grow in bold witness, compassion and readiness to share the hope of Jesus. Let this module become more than information; let it become obedience, healing, wisdom and love. Show me the next faithful step, and give me grace to take it. Amen.
