Courage is not the absence of fear. It is obedience in the presence of fear because God is faithful. Gideon's story shows how God meets people who feel small and calls them forward.
This module helps disciples identify hiding places, excuses and fears that shrink calling.
Learners practice courage through small, faithful steps before larger breakthroughs.
The preview introduces courage as a formed response to God's word.

Opening encouragement
Walk in Courage invites the learner to take a real step, not only collect information. This part of the Growth Track begins with grace: God meets people where they are and then gives them a path to grow. The module is connected to Fearless Courage, but the goal is larger than finishing a book. The goal is a formed disciple who understands the truth, practises it in ordinary life and helps someone else grow.
Biblical foundation
The biblical foundation for this module is Judges 6, Joshua 1:9, 2 Timothy 1:7. These Scriptures frame the central truth: Courage is obedience in the presence of fear because God is faithful and His call is greater than hiding. The learner is encouraged to read slowly, notice what God reveals, and ask how the Word moves from belief into obedience.
Practical teaching
The theme of this module is Gideon, calling, fear, breakthroughs and courage for extraordinary outcomes. That theme becomes practical when the learner can name what must change in thought, habit, relationship or service. The key practice is simple: Name one place where fear has kept you small and take one Gideon-like step of obedience.
What growth looks like
By the end of the module, the learner should be able to name fear without obeying it; receive courage for calling; take practical breakthrough steps. Growth is measured through reflection, action, group discussion, facilitator support and certificate progress, not by rushing through content.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, lead me through Walk in Courage with honesty and teachability. Help me grow in fearless courage, calling and breakthrough obedience.
