Calling is not only a future ministry title. Calling begins with Jesus saying, Follow Me. Before a disciple is sent, the disciple learns to walk with Christ.

This module gives language and direction to believers who want to move from passive attendance into active participation. It connects spiritual disciplines with purpose and daily faithfulness.

The learner is invited to see gifts, opportunities, relationships and responsibilities as part of the journey God uses to shape calling.

The preview introduces a simple pattern: hear, follow, obey, serve and grow.

Opening encouragement

Walking in Your Calling invites the learner to take a real step, not only collect information. This part of the Growth Track begins with grace: God meets people where they are and then gives them a path to grow. The module is connected to Called, but the goal is larger than finishing a book. The goal is a formed disciple who understands the truth, practises it in ordinary life and helps someone else grow.

Biblical foundation

The biblical foundation for this module is Matthew 4:19, Ephesians 2:10, 2 Timothy 1:9. These Scriptures frame the central truth: Calling begins with following Jesus before it becomes assignment, platform or ministry responsibility. The learner is encouraged to read slowly, notice what God reveals, and ask how the Word moves from belief into obedience.

Practical teaching

The theme of this module is Following Jesus, purpose, spiritual disciplines and active participation in Kingdom work. That theme becomes practical when the learner can name what must change in thought, habit, relationship or service. The key practice is simple: Write down one area where Jesus may be inviting you to follow more closely before you ask Him to send you further.

What growth looks like

By the end of the module, the learner should be able to understand calling as discipleship before platform; build daily rhythms of obedience; take practical next steps into purpose. Growth is measured through reflection, action, group discussion, facilitator support and certificate progress, not by rushing through content.

Starter reflection

  • Where do I most need the truth of Walking in Your Calling in my current season?
  • Which part of this theme exposes a belief, habit or fear that needs to change: Following Jesus, purpose, spiritual disciplines and active participation in Kingdom work?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, lead me through Walking in Your Calling with honesty and teachability. Help me grow in obedience, purpose and daily faithfulness. Let this module become more than information; let it become obedience, healing, wisdom and love. Show me the next faithful step, and give me grace to take it. Amen.
