Identity answers one of the deepest questions in the human heart: Who am I? Scripture does not leave the believer guessing. In Christ we are forgiven, adopted, called, loved and sent.

This module explores identity crises in biblical lives and helps learners see how God meets people in moments of fear, shame, failure and calling.

A secure identity does not make disciples proud. It makes them free to serve without needing applause or approval.

The preview invites learners to exchange false labels for the truth spoken by God.

Opening encouragement

Walk in Identity invites the learner to take a real step, not only collect information. This part of the Growth Track begins with grace: God meets people where they are and then gives them a path to grow. The module is connected to Your Identity in Christ, but the goal is larger than finishing a book. The goal is a formed disciple who understands the truth, practises it in ordinary life and helps someone else grow.

Biblical foundation

The biblical foundation for this module is 2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1, Galatians 4:6-7. These Scriptures frame the central truth: In Christ, identity is received before it is achieved; disciples grow from belonging, not insecurity. The learner is encouraged to read slowly, notice what God reveals, and ask how the Word moves from belief into obedience.

Practical teaching

The theme of this module is Identity, value, sonship, spiritual authority and overcoming false labels. That theme becomes practical when the learner can name what must change in thought, habit, relationship or service. The key practice is simple: Name one false label you have carried and replace it with one truth from Scripture.

What growth looks like

By the end of the module, the learner should be able to name false identity labels; understand value in Christ; walk with spiritual confidence and humility. Growth is measured through reflection, action, group discussion, facilitator support and certificate progress, not by rushing through content.

Starter reflection

  • Where do I most need the truth of Walk in Identity in my current season?
  • Which part of this theme exposes a belief, habit or fear that needs to change: Identity, value, sonship, spiritual authority and overcoming false labels?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, lead me through Walk in Identity with honesty and teachability. Help me grow in secure identity, freedom from labels and confidence in Christ. Let this module become more than information; let it become obedience, healing, wisdom and love. Show me the next faithful step, and give me grace to take it. Amen.
