A believer can be saved and still think like an orphan. Sonship is the journey of learning to live from belonging rather than fear, striving or rejection.

This module explores emotional healing, repentance and spiritual formation that restores intimacy with the Father.

Disciples reflect on relationships, trust, authority, performance and love.

The preview invites learners to hear again: you are not a slave to fear; you are welcomed as a child.

Opening encouragement

Walk in Sonship invites the learner to take a real step, not only collect information. This part of the Growth Track begins with grace: God meets people where they are and then gives them a path to grow. The module is connected to Slavery to Sonship, but the goal is larger than finishing a book. The goal is a formed disciple who understands the truth, practises it in ordinary life and helps someone else grow.

Biblical foundation

The biblical foundation for this module is Romans 8:15-16, Galatians 4:7, Luke 15. These Scriptures frame the central truth: Sonship heals orphan thinking by grounding the disciple in belonging, intimacy and the Father's love. The learner is encouraged to read slowly, notice what God reveals, and ask how the Word moves from belief into obedience.

Practical teaching

The theme of this module is Orphan thinking, sonship, intimacy with the Father, healing and belonging. That theme becomes practical when the learner can name what must change in thought, habit, relationship or service. The key practice is simple: Notice one place where you still live from fear or striving, then practise receiving before performing.

What growth looks like

By the end of the module, the learner should be able to recognize orphan patterns; receive identity as a child of God; grow in intimacy with the Father. Growth is measured through reflection, action, group discussion, facilitator support and certificate progress, not by rushing through content.

Starter reflection

  • Where do I most need the truth of Walk in Sonship in my current season?
  • Which part of this theme exposes a belief, habit or fear that needs to change: Orphan thinking, sonship, intimacy with the Father, healing and belonging?

Prayer

Lord Jesus, lead me through Walk in Sonship with honesty and teachability. Help me grow in belonging, intimacy with the Father and freedom from orphan thinking. Let this module become more than information; let it become obedience, healing, wisdom and love. Show me the next faithful step, and give me grace to take it. Amen.
